Shipping & returns

SHIPPING 

 

Shipping Rates:

 

  • A $8 freight charge applies for any orders under $100 delivered within New Zealand.
  • A $5 freight charge applies for any orders over $100 ( unless otherwise stated or as part of any promotion) when delivered within New Zealand.
  • This excludes the rural delivery,Chatham Islands, and PO Boxes.

 

 Delivery Time:

 

  • All items (excluding pre-orders) will be dispatched within 1 business day of your order.

North Island (non-rural) – Delivery normally takes 1-2 business days after dispatch.

South Island (non-rural) – Delivery normally takes 2-3 business days after dispatch.

New Zealand (rural) – Delivery normally takes between 2-5 business days after dispatch.

  • During times of high order volume (such as during a One Day Sale) and public holidays this delivery period may take longer. This is subject to stock availability.
  • If your order does not arrive within this timeframe, please contact us at aimee@magicbean.co.nz. Please include your order number in any correspondence so we can assist you quickly.
  • All orders are delivered by Aramex New Zealand (formerly Fastway Couriers). Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a confirmation email including a Track & Trace number for your package. To track your delivery please go to www.aramex.co.nz and enter your tracking reference.
  • Magicbean does not deliver to P.O.Boxes,  so please provide a physical address during checkout.
  • INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING
    We can send some items internationally.  If you are based outside of New Zealand and wishing to make a purchase, please email us at aimee@magicbean.co.nz with details of the items that you wish to purchase and your location and we can advise shipping costs for you.

 

Returns:

 

  • DAMAGED OR FAULTY GOODS.

We ensure our goods are of the highest quality and we are confident that all items purchased from us are in perfect order, however in the rare occurrence that you receive a damaged or faulty item. Please contact us immediately via email at aimee@magicbean.co.nz. We will provide store credit, or an exchange (if we have a replacement in stock) once we have received the returned item. Please note products must be returned to us within 14 days of the purchase and must be returned in the same condition as received with all labels etc. returned with the item.

  • EXCHANGE POLICY.

We make every effort to make sure our product descriptions are as detailed as possible and that includes sizing and colour guides for our clothing type product. If you have a question about sizing then please feel free to contact us at  aimee@magicbean.co.nz prior to making your purchase – we are happy to help.

If you do need to exchange or return an item, the item must be returned to Magic Bean within 14 days of the purchase date. It must be unwashed, unworn, and in original condition (this includes all original tags and packaging ). Return items that have been worn, damaged or altered from their original state will not be exchanged or refunded and will be returned to the customer. 

We regret that we are unable to refund shipping and handling costs, unless the item was faulty or not as ordered. 

No returns or exchanges on Saturday and Sunday.

  • SALE ITEMS.
    All purchases of SALE items are final and cannot be returned or exchanged.  Some may be damaged or missing pieces.
  • GIFTS.

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.

  • Additional non-returnable items:
  • Gift cards
  • Sale items(if applicable): Only regular priced items may be returned, unfortunately sale items are final sale.
  • Exchanges(if applicable):    When exchanging for a "change of mind", a $7.5 handling cost and the shipping fee will be applied. If you have indicated to exchange for an item that is sold out or that is delayed, we will notify you of the situation via email. 

Refunds and exchanges are processed within 1-3 days of receiving the goods at the store. 

Please remember to include with the return the original order details such as the order number, name, postal address, and phone number.

 

 

Shipping Infomation:

  • To return your product, you should mail your product to Shop 3 Magic Bean, 64 Rangitikei Street, Palmerston North,4414.
  • You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
  • Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.
